So Will Al Give Back That Nobel Now?

With global temperatures dropping and record snow cover in North America, is time to bet that the MSN will change its tune on global warming?  Don't bet on it, because in fact the tune started changing some time ago.  The bet-hedging weasel word "Climate Change" has become essentially interchangable.  The media has thus created an Orwellian syllogism that allows them to turn white into black, and hot into cold.
"Global Warming," you see, is a form of "Climate Change."  "Climate  Change" can mean either cooling or warming.  Therefore, Global Warming can actually result in cooling.

Yes, it's lousy logic, but that's the nature of the scam.  Classic bait and switch.  It reminds me of the three card monty games they used to run on my street corner as a kid.

This is not particularly interesting on its own, but as an illustration of how the left covers itself when its predictions go awry, it is highly illustrative.  The process is simplicity itself:  1) Make a prediction.  2) When your prediction fails, rewrite history and change the terms of the prediction ex post facto.  3) When even that doesn't work, manufacture another fake crisis.  4) Repeat as needed.

Global Warming is a fraud, a pretense for a call to action--namely to increase the government's power to regulate, and perhaps not coincidentally to enrich politicians with their snouts deep in the green, green trough.  Algore has done very well for himself since losing to Bush in 2000.  An Oscar, somewhere in the neighborhood of 100M from speaking fees and profits from his "carbon offset" business), and finally the Nobel Peace Prize for putting together a glorified Power Point presentation on a bogus enviro-scare.

Never fear, though.  Colder temperatures and record snow cover are actually signs of Global Warm . . . er "Climate Change."  So, don't hold your breath waiting for Algore to give back his Alfred (Nobel).
